My Side of the Story

For a moment before I started cutting the pile of newspaper, I jabbed the scissors into my wrist just to feel the rush and go through the week's thoughts. It sure has been a hectic and somewhat depressing week. I didn't realized that it left a mark on my wrist - I saw it during my shower after I finished all the cutting.

Maybe everybody was right - don't set expectations too high.

I get it now. I get it why it's so easy for people to end their life by suicide.

Maybe I was naive too. I admit that. But no more.
